Our preference is to complete projects only if we've done the scheduled amount of reading, copy work, etc.įor some reason Blogger's search button is not working across the blogosphere right now.

My hope is that I will be able to return to the planner pages for those who need them, but our family is not going to be very rigid in our projects for the coming school year. Some of the references to project ideas have links, but some of the ideas are taken from books that we own (Amazing Inventions by Leonardo Da Vinci, for example). Thanks for your feedback! I have not had the chance to go back through to work in the details for our planner pages. If you come across broken or outdated links, please let us know so we can fix them for you! Due to the ever-changing scope of the World Wide Web, these resource lists are a continual work in progress. If the images do not display correctly, scroll down to the list of links at the bottom of this post. Click on the pictures (or links) below to access our lists of resources for each subject. Our pages have been updated so that they are helpful to folks who have either Foundations Guide 4th or 5th edition. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Use. When sharing our printable downloads with others, please refer them to our blog posts instead of linking directly to the file(s). By using this website, you agree not to modify our files/lists and/or upload them to other websites (including Facebook and email). Please do not copy and re-post these lists (or our personal creations) on other webpages. Our family invests many hours into creating resource lists and files to share with others. This provides an opportunity for ongoing review and integration of the memory work throughout the year.Ĭopyright note: If you wish to share our work with others, we would be honored! Please provide a link to the respective page of whatever you are sharing. For families who use Classical Conversations®, the readings assigned in the Mission: Faith Forgers study overlap much of the memory work studied during Cycle 2 but is not correlated week by week.

This study has been designed to be used independently of Classical Conversations®. The books selected for this reading plan were chosen as long-term resources for students to use when they embark on research and world geography memorization in grades 7+. Note: Although Mission: Faith Forgers is not directly correlated to the memory work, it includes a more complete study of astronomy, physical science, and history. In fact, it’s better to read history chronologically (and science within context) and simply allow the memory pegs to work as they come up in whatever you are reading, whenever you are reading it.įor a reading/curriculum plan that overlaps much of the memory work studied during Cycle 2 but with an emphasis on the Great Commission along with an integrated study of world history/geography, science, and fine arts, check out our Mission: Faith Forgers Curriculum Plan. Please note that you do not need to match up your reading selections with what is taught in Classical Conversations. In past years, our family has used an approach similar to that shown in the above sample activity plan but eventually opted for a more complete learning experience using our reading plans along with activities to encourage science exploration and art/music study in our home.
